New England Revolution 1-1 FC Dallas
Atiba Harris headed in a free kick from Dax McCarty in the 66th minute to help F.C. Dallas tie the New England Revolution 1-1 on Saturday night.
Rookie striker Zack Schilawski scored his fourth goal of the season in the 41st minute to open the scoring for the Revolution (2-3-1). F.C. Dallas is 0-1-4.
The Revolution played the final 18 minutes two men down. Kheli Dube was given a red card in the 56th minute for a flagrant foul on F.C. Dallas' Ugo Ihemelu, and Joseph Miouky was red-carded in the 72nd minute for a hard tackle on Heath Pierce. In addition, 11 yellow cards were issued by referee Jeff Gontarek, six to New England.
New England scored after Dallas goalkeeper Dario Sala failed to play a ball along the endline. Dube came in on the right wing, took possession of the ball and sent it into the penalty box area, where Schilawski finished off a sliding 12-yard shot.
Dallas had the far better run of play through the first half with a 7-3 advantage in shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks and during the second half.
