Major League Soccer is planning a combine for elite Caribbean players to be selected for the league's annual player evaluation camp.
Elite players from the region aged 18-21 will be invited to practice and play in front of league scouts from Jan. 2-5 in St. John's, Antigua.
MLS Executive Vice President Todd Durbin says the Caribbean is ''rich with soccer talent, and this will be an opportunity for our scouts to evaluate and identify the region's top players.''
Players who make the cut in Antigua will be invited to Florida for the annual MLS Player Combine ahead of the draft.
