The Galaxy have acquired forward Adam Cristman from D.C. United for Los Angeles' first pick in Thursday's Major League Soccer draft.

The trade was made Tuesday, a day after forward Edson Buddle left the Galaxy to sign with Ingolstadt in the German second division.

The 26-year-old Cristman has 12 goals and six assists in 68 regular-season games with New England (2007-08), Kansas City (2009) and D.C. United (2010). He had two goals in 17 matches for United last season.
