D.C. United has signed defender Chris Korb, the 31st overall pick in this year's draft.
United announced the deal Tuesday.
The 23-year-old fullback played three seasons at Akron, starting all 25 matches last season. He was an All-Mid-American Conference first-team selection as a junior and made second-team as a senior.
