Chivas USA to play match at Padres' ballpark

Chivas USA and Chivas de Guadalajara of the Mexican first division will play a match at Petco Park in San Diego.

Chivas USA announced on Thursday the ''ChivaClasico'' matchup at the home of the San Diego Padres on Sept 14.

Last year, the teams played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., where the Mexican team won 2-0.

This year's match will be Chivas de Guadalajara's second of the year on U.S. soil. The club will visit the Philadelphia Union on Sept. 1.
