LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) Sport's highest court has upheld appeals by six leading rhythmic gymnastics officials against their suspensions for alleged ''irregularities'' during coaching courses for judges.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport confirmed the result of the appeals on Thursday in an e-mail to The Associated Press, on behalf of its general secretary.
The International Gymnastics Federation had suspended the six members of its rhythmic gymnastics technical committee, including the Russian president, Natalyia Kuzmina, and American delegate Caroline Hunt, in October.
They were barred from conducting judges' examinations and overseeing judges at competitions through December 2014.
