Rory, Wozniacki still an item after all?
Despite rumors flying around about the end of his relationship with girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki, Rory McIlroy tweeted nothing and said publicly that he'd like to keep his private life private.
Caroline, meanwhile, told a Danish newspaper that the rumors were just that — rumors — and that all was fine in their relationship. She later tweeted a picture of herself at a driving range.
Optimists said she'd only be working on her golf game if she was still spending time with one of the world's best golfers. Pessimists chimed in to claim it was a desperate attempt to show Rory that she still loves golf and him.
Well, whatever you believe, know that it appears Rory still considers Caroline his girl. He broke his Twitter silence over the weekend:
#21 #luxembourg #mygirl ¿¿¿¿ @CaroWozniacki

It's a reference to Caroline collecting her 21st career WTA title after defeating Annika Beck in the Luxembourg Open final on Sunday. It marked the first victory in almost exactly one year for the world's ninth-ranked female tennis player (however, she dropped to No. 10 in the new rankings Monday because the points she earned for winning a Moscow tournament in October 2012 came out of the calculations).
Sunday was a pretty good day for Rory too, as he placed second at the Korea Open after surging from 10 shots back to within one of the winner, Kang Sung-hoon.
So it appears that things are just fine with Wozzilroy. Well, maybe aside from the media prying too much into their relationship (yes, this website included).
