Ronda Rousey named one of world's 100 most influential people


TIME released its annual list of the world's most influential people Thursday, highlighted by a 22-year-old Masters champion, a six-time Olympic gold medalist, and a three-time Formula 1 world champion. Here's how TIME made its selections:
TIME split the list into categories, recognizing "Titans" (such as Apple's Tim Cook and Pope Francis), "Artists" (Kendrick Lamar and Idris Elba), "Leaders," (Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton), "Icons" (Adele and Leonardo DiCaprio) and "Pioneers" (Aziz Ansari and PewDiePie).
