Oklahoma State leads Big 12 men's golf

Oklahoma State led after the first two rounds of the Big 12 men's golf championship and a pair of Cowboys were on top in the individual competition.

Morgan Hoffmann and Kevin Tway entered Tuesday's third round on the Prairie Dunes course at 1-under 139. Hoffman shot 70-69 in 36 holes on Monday while Tway opened with a blistering 4-under 66 before slipping to 73 in the afternoon round. Ryan Sirman of Oklahoma was next at 140, followed by Julio Vegas of Texas at 141.

In the team competition, Oklahoma State had a 36-hole total of 575, followed by Texas at 578. Oklahoma was one stroke behind at 579, followed by Texas A&M's 582.
