Masters fan bets on Rory McIlroy after seeing golfer's face on Danish
It's not every day one spots a preminiton burnt into the tasty flakes of a breakfast pastry, so perhaps it's best to make the most of it.
Like in the case of superstitious sports fan Rob Price, who decided to bet big on Rory McIlroy to win the Masters after spotting the Northern Irish golfer's face burnt onto his morning Danish.
Here is the picture of the prophetic pastry, as picked up by the 27-year-old from his local bakery in Andover, UK:
A sign? Forget Jesus on your toast, just found @McIlroyRory on my Danish. Surely a grand on Rory to win #Masters2014 pic.twitter.com/ZLJkf2t8tV

"I was going to put some money on Rory to win The Masters this year anyway, but I'm pretty superstitious so when this happened instead of putting 120 Euro [$167 US] down, I decided to go big and put 1,200 Euro [$1670 US]," the 27-year-old told the Mirror.

"It's got to be a sign — Rory's face on a piece of food from his girlfriend's home country," Price continued. "My mates have had a giggle and think I'm mad, but if I pocket 14,400 Euro [$20,000 US], I'll be the one laughing."
so long he's on top of the leaderboard come the end of the #Masters2014 I don't mind @Betfair. #worriedface pic.twitter.com/QGXFnZ2n1r

Just another reason to have breakfast every day.
