Jordan Spieth made quite the splash at his high school’s homecoming game when he arrived via helicopter to deliver the game ball.

Life if good for Jordan Spieth. He’s the best golfer on the planet and arguably the greatest young golfer to hit the PGA Tour since Tiger Woods two decades ago. He’s really the face of the tour now but before he was winning major championships and starring at the University of Texas, Spieth was a student at Jesuit High School where he returned for the school’s homecoming on Friday.

What did Spieth do to make his presence felt?

Well, he arrived via helicopter that landed on the 50-yard line where he walked to the Jesuit sideline to deliver the game ball to the team’s captains for their game against Richardson Berkner.

You can watch the video of the chopper landing and Spieth walking out and presenting the game ball in the facebook video below.

How cool is that?!

Think about all the students, parents, teachers, alumni and fans in attendance who got to see this awesome moment they will never forget.

Spieth is a rising star in golf but also represents one of the best young talents in all of sports. He’s a guy you can look to as a role model and this act shows he’s still humble and hasn’t forgotten where he’s come from.

Spieth has a few more months to enjoy his offseason, so maybe we’ll see him to something similar for a Texas Longhorns game before the end of the season.
