John Daly started putting one-handed in the middle of a tournament

John Daly started his final round at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open just three shots behind the leader, which is generally not a great time to make major changes to your putting stroke. Daly decided to swing his putter using only his left hand and somehow managed not to completely ruin his tournament.

Daly went back to a two-handed grip on short putts, and the switch bumped up his putts per GIR average from 1.6 on Saturday to 1.8. A score of 73 dropped Daly to T-11, but that's his best finish yet on the Champions Tour this year.
