Jason Day says he 'popped something' during British Open practice round

If World No. 1 Jason Day has a weakness, it's his durability. Day persevered through recurring back problems earlier this year, collapsed at the U.S. Open in 2015 due to vertigo, and missed time in 2014 with a thumb injury. He's managed to play a full schedule this season after taking a long break over the winter - but the British Open co-favorite gave his fans a scare Tuesday in a practice round at Royal Troon when he interrupted his swing and grabbed his ribs.

Fortunately, it seems that Day is just fine.
