UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio (AP) The final round of the U.S. Senior Open has been postponed because of heavy rain on Sunday.

The USGA says it'll try to finish the tournament on Monday, although rain also is likely then, too. The first groups are scheduled to off at 7:30 a.m.

The course at the Scioto Country Club absorbed about 2 inches of rain late Saturday and Sunday.

Miguel Angel Jimenez is the leader after three rounds. He finished Saturday with a 1-under 69 on Saturday. The 52-year-old Spanish player is at 3-under 207 after 54 holes on Jack Nicklaus' boyhood course.
