Frank Esposito Jr. takes four-stroke Senior PGA Pro lead

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Frank Esposito Jr. shot a 5-under 67 on Saturday at PGA Golf Club to take a four-stroke lead in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship

The 51-year-old Esposito, the PGA head professional at Brooklake in Florham Park, New Jersey, matched the tournament 54-hole record at 15-under 201.

''I'm very satisfied with my play this week,'' Esposito said. ''If you would have told me before the week I'd have been in this position I would be thrilled. I've been playing well, making some putts. I hope that continues.''

Jeff Coston, the 2006 winner, was second after a 71. The 59-year-old Coston is a PGA teaching professional at Semiahmoo in Blaine, Washington.

The top 35 Sunday will earn spots in the Senior PGA Championship in May at French Lick (Indiana) Resort.
