Five golfers killing the fashion game at the Masters

Seventy-eight percent of sports is looking good. This is inarguable.

If you look like a badass you feel like a badass, and your odds for badassity on the playing field exponentially increase.

So, by the transitive property alone, it stands to reason that the following well-attired pros (and amateur) are entering the 2016 Masters as clear contenders to win at Augusta.

Bryson DeChambeau

You're going to hear this name a lot this weekend.

An amateur participating in his first Masters, DeChambeau is playing out of his gourd. Last year's U.S. Amateur champion is sitting at even par through 17 and more importantly, is rocking his signature Ben Hogan hat in sleek black.

This man and his weird clubs will soon become your favorite. Also, Bryson DeChambeau is literally Matthew McConaughey.

Never forget this.

Jordan Spieth

Tiffany blue plus a Houndstooth-ian weave belt equals a strong first day from the reigning Masters champion, who leads the tournament at five-under par as of this writing.

On another note, here is a less flattering image of Spieth taken this week, because you deserve it:

Rickie Fowler

At seven-over through 17, Rickie Fowler's worst waking nightmare is playing out at Augusta on Day One.

But damn if he isn't going down looking fresh:

And just like his scorecard, Fowler's kicks are on fire:

Sorry, Rickie. You look sharp, though.

Rory McIlroy

To kick off his first round at Augusta McIlroy is sporting black and a pair of Nikes in honor of Kobe Bryant's upcoming retirement.

The shoes feature gold accents and "4/13" (the date of Bryant's last game) inscribed on the side.

Mint.

Ian Poulter

Last but not least, Ian Poulter is rocking a purple jacket with matching white and purple shoes.

This is subtle, but top shelf synergy. Also, don't sleep on Poulter's hops.

Dan is on Twitter. His golf fashion game >>> his actual golf game.
