The PGA Tour will open with a Monday finish in Hawaii and feature some minor movement for 2012.
The tour on Wednesday released next year's schedule, which has 45 tournaments that count toward the money list. It opens with the Tournament of Champions, to be held Jan. 6-9 at Kapalua and end on a Monday so that the final round is held before the BCS Championship game kicks off.
Because it is a Ryder Cup year, there will be three FedEx Cup playoff events in consecutive weeks. After a week off, the Tour Championship and the Ryder Cup at Medinah will be held in back-to-back weeks.
The season ends Nov. 1-4 at Disney, which will be played after the tour plays two unofficial events in Asia.
