After three rounds of 66 to start the week, Paul Casey holds a three-shot lead at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
Paul Casey is your 54-hole leader at the 2016 Deutsche Bank Championship. The Englishman fired a third consecutive 66 on moving day to take a three-shot lead over Brian Harman.
Casey got off to a relatively slow start on Sunday, but three consecutive birdies midway through the front nine got him on the right track as he made the turn. A pair of red numbers over his final three holes, including an eagle on the par 5 18th, brought him to five-under for the day.
Casey now sits at 15-under for the tournament. With three shots to play with, he’ll have a great chance to bag his first PGA Tour win in more than seven years on Monday.

Harman, a former Georgia Bulldog, will join him in the final group. The lefty shot a solid 68 on Sunday to assume full control of second place.
Jimmy Walker, Kevin Chappell and Smylie Kaufman, all tied for third at 11-under, round out the top five heading into the final round. Walker had an up-and-down day, ending up with a one-under 70. Chappell, the 36-hole leader, never really achieved liftoff and settled for a 71, with a double bogey on the 12th hole stymieing his momentum. Kaufman played the best of the trio, shooting a 68 in the third round. He will join Casey and Harman in the final group on Monday.
The biggest mover of the day was this event’s runner-up from back in 2012, Louis Oosthuizen. The South African shot a 64 to rocket from a tie for 54th place all the way up to a tie for seventh. With six shots to make up on Casey, he’ll have his work cut out for him on Labor Day, but a few birdies would put him right in the thick of it.
With so many notable names near the top, the Deutsche Bank Championship’s Labor Day finish should certainly be fun to watch. Don’t miss any of the action — the first groups tee off at 7 a.m. EST, while the leaders go out at 9:01.
