Citing a wrist injury, Russ Cochran has withdrawn from next week's US Senior Open, the fourth of five majors in the Champions Tour season.

Cochran had been exempted into the field. The left-hander, who won the 2011 Senior British Open, is 10th in Charles Schwab Cup points this year. He's 11th in money, with $641,605.

Don Reycroft of Norfolk, Mass., the first alternate from the Marion, Mass., sectional qualifier after a four-man playoff, will inherit Cochran's spot at Omaha (Neb.) CC.
