Kurt Barnes has qualified for the British Open for the second time through the Australasia leg of international qualifying at the Kingston Heath Golf Club.

Barnes, who also qualified last year at Kingston Heath, earned a place along with Australians Matthew Millar and Rick Kulacz as the top three finishers in the 36-hole event on Tuesday.

Millar won the qualifying tournament with rounds of 66 and 68 for a 10-under total, one shot clear of Barnes, who carded a 69 on Tuesday after opening with 66. Kulacz had rounds of 70 and 66 and then earned his British Open spot by beating Stephen Leaney in a playoff.
