It's a good thing there's no version of timeout music at golf tournaments, or this could be happening to Rory McIlroy all the time.
While McIlroy was being interviewed by BBC during an Irish league rugby match between Ulster and Connacht, the stadium sound system began playing that Fenway Park favorite by Neil Diamond, "Sweet Caroline."
That's a none too subtle jab at the world's No. 1 golfer, who broke off his engagement earlier this year with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.
But at least McIlroy could chuckle at the ploy.
