It’s good to see that the Hogs may be struggling on the gridiron but are killing it on the green. Junior, Alvaro Ortiz, had his 4th straight top 10 finish Out of twelve rounds, Ortiz has finished seven under par this fall.

A big standout is Freshman Louis Garza. Louis, who has finished under par five of his last eight rounds, started off a little rough. He would shoot two bogeys and a triple bogey on the first four holes. After that, the freshman was back to being the beast that he his. He went on to shoot five birdies over the final 11 holes and finish in fourth place. He has three consecutive top 20 finishes with two of them in the top five.

The Hogs, through four events, have a 30-15 head-to-head record this fall. The Razorbacks will take a week off and then resume play on October 24th and 25th at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate in Vero Beach, Florida. It is a 54 hole event to be played at the Quail Valley Golf Club.
