STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Olympic cyclist Taylor Phinney will continue his comeback from a devastating injury sustained more than a year ago when he starts next week's USA Pro Challenge.

Phinney raced for the first time since his career-threatening crash at the 2014 national championships in last week's Tour of Utah. Phinney will be joined on the BMC Racing Team in his native Colorado by Tour de France stage winner Rohan Dennis.

Rosters for the seven-day stage race were announced Friday. The race begins Monday.

Two-time defending champion Tejay van Garderen is skipping the USA Pro Challenge to ride in the Vuelta a Espana. But other noteworthy riders in Colorado include U.S. champion Matthew Busche, Roman Kreuziger and 22-year-old Italian phenom Davide Formolo.
