Wolf with 4 TDs, leads Campbell over Butler 28-9

BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) Dakota Wolf threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Campbell in a 28-9 victory over Butler on Saturday.

Wolf's 34 completions broke the previous school record, and he finished with 306-yards passing and 43 on the ground. He threw a 50-yard TD pass to Jared Joyner in the first quarter to put the Fighting Camels (3-3, 3-0 Pioneer) up 7-0.

Jonathan Treloar kicked a 49-yard field goal to start the second, but the Bulldogs (3-3, 1-2) would get no closer.

With the score 21-9 at the start of the fourth quarter, Butler was in the red zone after David Burke blocked Campbell's punt and the Bulldogs started at the Campbell 22. On fourth and goal Malcolm Weaver's pass was incomplete. Campbell took over on its own 7, driving 93 yards in 14 plays and Wolf threw a 6-yard pass to Dalton Dillon for the final score.
