Wisconsin wide receiver Jared Abbrederis left the No. 13 Badgers' loss to Oregon State on Saturday with a chest injury following a big hit.

Abbrederis was hurt in the second quarter of the 10-7 loss to the Beavers. He was injured when he got sandwiched by Oregon State's Rueben Robinson and Feti Taumoepeau on a crossing route. Abbrederis initially got up and started to jog off the field, but took a few steps and went down to the turf. He was taken back to the locker room and about 20 minutes later walked under his own power to an ambulance.

Abbrederis was transferred to a hospital for evaluation. Coach Bret Bielema didn't have details on his injury after the game, but said Abbrederis was expected to accompany the team on its flight back to Wisconsin.

Abbrederis had one catch for 26 yards in the first half. He had two touchdown catches last week against Northern Iowa.
