WATCH: Vernon Adams Jr. pulls off stunning TD throw to force OT vs. ASU

Oregon needed a miracle late in the fourth quarter against Arizona State in Tempe on Thursday night.

They got one, when Vernon Adams Jr. and Dwayne Stanford teamed up for one of the most improbable touchdowns you'll ever see. 

Down 41-34, the Ducks faced a fourth-and-goal situation. Adams took the snap, scrambled around, tossed up a prayer and somehow found Stanford in the back of the end zone for a touchdown with 12 seconds left. Watch it above.

The fireworks weren't over. The teams combined for five more touchdowns in three overtime periods before the Ducks prevailed, 61-55. Adams passed for 315 yards and four TDs, the last a 20-yarder to Bralon Addison for the win.
