WATCH: Penn State QB Hackenberg nails referee in the face with pass

Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg didn't get off to a great start in Saturday's contest against Northwestern -- but at least one of his incompletions wasn't his fault.
On the team's first drive, Hackenberg attempted to throw a pass over the middle to one of his wide receivers on a slant.
But the referee got in the way and, as a result, got pegged in the head.
