It’s no secret that it’s a big season on the Bayou, where just about everyone -- myself included -- believe that this is the year LSU could finally break the stranglehold Alabama has on the SEC and claim a conference title.
The Tigers return a combination of experience and talent that is unmatched in the SEC, and with a favorable schedule that includes home games against ‘Bama and Ole Miss, everything seems to be lining up for a huge season for the Tigers.
LSU did nothing to temper expectations on Wednesday either, when they -- like so many other schools at this time of year -- released a crazy awesome hype video. Check it out below.
Now that we all spent the last minute with our jaws on the floor, allow me to add three follow-up thoughts: 1) Whoever was the videographer here should seriously win an Emmy for that thing. It was awesome. 2) If that video doesn’t have you buying LSU as a national championship contender, well, you’re either an Alabama fan or simply have no soul. 3) Man, do I need to get to a night game in Baton Rouge.
