WATCH: Fueled by big plays, Arkansas beats LSU in Death Valley

Arkansas won its fourth game in as many weeks by marching into Death Valley and giving LSU its first home loss of the season by a dominating 31-14 margin on Saturday. The Razorbacks defense rebounded nicely from a tough outing against Ole Miss by limiting LSU to only 59 rushing yards.

The Razorbacks now have the opportunity to finish as high as second in the SEC West by winning at home against Mississippi State and Missouri to close out the regular season.

The Hogs used big scoring plays on offense to demoralize the Tigers all night long. The first score of the game came via this Brandon Allen 52-yard pass to Dominque Reed:

Then came this 80-yard touchdown run by running back Alex Collins in the second quarter:

To close out the scoring, there was this 69-yard reverse run by receiver Jared Cornelius in the fourth quarter that had the LSU faithful heading for the exits:

Give Bret Bielema and his Arkansas staff credit for turning around a rough 2-4 start, which included nonconference losses to Toledo and Texas Tech. For the second year in a row, the Razorbacks appear to be playing their best football down the stretch and look to be a dangerous team poised to finish the season strong.
