WATCH: Florida DL took horrible cheap shot on Jameis Winston

The Gators and Seminoles don't like each other, so naturally there was some hostility when the teams took the field on Saturday for their rivalry game.

But what one Florida player did in the first half is taking it way too far.

As Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston ran out of bounds, Florida freshman defensive lineman Gerald Willis took a vicious cheap shot on Winston, hitting him in the face as he was trying to slow down.

The hit was so blatant and out of bounds that Willis was immediately ejected.

If Willis was suspended for Florida's bowl game, too, nobody could argue it would be an unfair penalty. By all means play with intensity and emotion, but this is just foolish.
