Alex Carder threw for 404 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground, and Western Michigan stayed undefeated at home Saturday with a 45-35 win over Ball State.

Jordan White caught two touchdown passes and became Western Michigan's all-time receptions leader. He finished with nine catches for 172 yards. Tevin Drake had two rushing touchdowns for the Broncos (5-4, 3-2 Mid-American).

White's first score was a 40-yarder from Carder in the first quarter. The wild second quarter saw seven touchdowns, four by the Broncos.
