Brandon West ran 25 times for 140 yards and a score for Western Michigan (5-6, 4-3). West set an FBS record for career all-purpose yards, and has 7,626 yards with one game left in his career. He passed the mark established by Memphis' DeAngelo Williams, now with the Carolina Panthers, who had 7,573 all-purpose yards.

West also broke the FBS career kick-return yardage record last week.

Eastern Michigan (0-10, 0-6) scored first on Saturday on Alex Gillett's 4-yard run, set up by Chris May's interception and return to the Western Michigan 15. But Hiller came back with a pair of touchdown passes to Matt Stevens and another to Chad Baliko as the Broncos took a 28-7 lead late in the second quarter.

The Eagles, in their home finale, scored before the half on Gillett's 12-yard pass to Kinsman Thomas, making it 28-14.
