Utah, no longer an underdog, suddenly under national spotlight
The Utes (4-0) are one of the hottest teams in the country after beating the Oregon Ducks and Michigan Wolverines.
ESPN's College GameDay broadcast is coming to Salt Lake City to broadcast their game vs. Cal. The Utes also jumped from No. 10 in the AP rankings to No. 5 after their bye week. Recruits are excited about the program. Momentum is beginning to feel a lot like the 2004 and 2008 seasons; Utah went undefeated in both efforts.
'If you want to be a good team, you've got to handle the success you've had and the attention that's being placed on your program,'' Whittingham said, according to Yahoo! Sports.
''If you get in the mindset where you're worrying about the external things and paying attention to all that, it's going to be a distraction. So you cannot allow that.''
