Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham signs two-year contract extension

Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham has signed a two-year contract extension through 2020.

Whittingham will receive $3.3 million per season, per the school, which is $700,000 more than he received during the 2015 season.

"We are excited about the contract extension for coach Whittingham and look forward to continued success in the Pac-12 Conference under his leadership," athletic director Chris Hill said.

In his 11 seasons at Utah, Whittingham has an overall record of 95-46.
