UNH to open new stadium against Holy Cross
(STATS) - New Hampshire football will play its inaugural game at Wildcat Stadium against Holy Cross on Sept. 10, 2016.
The non-conference matchup is one of five home games UNH will play as part of an 11-game schedule announced Thursday.
The other four games at UNH's new $25 million stadium, which is under construction and will seat nearly 12,000 fans, are CAA Football matchups against William & Mary (Oct. 1, Homecoming), James Madison (Oct. 15), Stony Brook (Oct. 29) and Albany (Nov. 12).
UNH will open the season Sept. 3 in a first-ever meeting against San Diego State at Qualcomm Stadium.
