Unbeaten Harvard puts away Lafayette 35-16
Michael Pruneau threw three touchdown passes and Paul Stanton Jr. ran for two as Harvard put away Lafayette 35-16 Saturday to remain undefeated.
Pruneau opened the scoring for the Crimson (5-0) with a 2-yard pass to Cameron Brate in the first quarter. Stanton Jr. ran for a 3-yard touchdown in both the second and third quarters.
Pruneau tossed two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter, a 50-yard strike to Andrew Fischer and a 15-yard score to Brate.
The Leopards (1-5) fell behind by 25 points before Drew Reed found Mike Duncan for a 25-yard touchdown. Reed also hit Demetrius Dixon 43 yards for a score late in the game.
Stanton Jr. had 21 rushes for 113 yards.
Pruneau went 17-of-29 for 263 yards, with 103 of those going to Ricky Zorn.
Reed, who relieved Andrew Dzurik in the second half, was 17-for-22 with 235 yards and an interception for Lafayette.
