LOS ANGELES -- Offensive tackle Torian White is no longer part of the UCLA football program, Bruins coach Jim Mora announced Tuesday.

White was arrested in November on suspicion of sexual assault and had been subsequently suspended indefinitely from the team.

"All I can tell you is he is no longer with the team," Mora said Tuesday after UCLA opened spring practice, declining to provide any other details.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County district attorney has said the case against White remains open.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound White started 18 consecutive games for the Bruins before he broke his ankle in a game at Utah last October, ending his sophomore season. He started all 14 games at left tackle as a freshman.
