UCLA lands nation's No. 1 DE; beats out Alabama, USC, Oregon

Jim Mora has reason to celebrate Thursday thanks to a special annoncement.
Oluwole Betiku, a five-star defensive end, announced his commitment to UCLA via Twitter.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound standout undoubtedly will boost the Bruins' 2016 recruiting class, which figures to land in the top 10 at this rate.
Perhaps what makes the announcement even more special is that Betiku hails from powerhouse Serra (Gardena, Calif.) High, a southern California powerhouse considered to be a USC pipeline school. Besides the Trojans, Betiku also spurned Alabama, Florida State, Oregon, Notre Dame and Penn State, among many other suitors.
