Dalton Turay's three second-quarter touchdowns is all UC Davis needed to gain momentum in a 37-13 victory Saturday over Weber State.

Turay's eight carries for 32 yards wasn't spectacular but the Aggies defense was, holding Weber State to 6 of 15 third-down conversions while forcing three interceptions, two of which came from Byron Gruendl, and two fumbles.

It was the Aggies' first Big Sky Conference home game in program history, and their first win within the new conference.

UC Davis (2-3, 1-1 Big Sky) was a perfect five-for-five in the red zone against the Wildcats. Kicker Brady Stuart had a good night for UC Davis, hitting all three of his field-goal attempts including a 40-yard try to put the Aggies out front 37-6 with 11:03 to go in the game.
