Uber offering free rides to UCF fans until Knights secure victory

The UCF Knights have gotten off to an inauspicious start in 2015, going 0-8 through the first portion of the season. Its head coach, George O'Leary, retired this past weekend (effective immediately) after the Knights lost 59-10 to Houston. It was the worst home loss in program history.

With all of the turmoil surrounding the squad, there needs to be some silver lining amidst the dreary forecast.
In an attempt to raise the spirits of those supporting the program, Uber has thrown its proverbial hat into the ring. The transportation service is offering free first rides to all new riders until UCF wins its first game of the season.
This likely will pertain to those in the Orlando area. It does seem like a pretty sweet deal, whether one wants to avoid driving to the stadium on game day, or if copious amounts of libations were consumed.
