Two Longhorns freshmen looking to transfer

True freshman linebacker Cecil Cherry and redshirt freshman running back Duke Catalon are in the process of transferring out of the Texas program, according to multiple reports.

Charlie Strong did not directly address either situation after Tuesday's practice, acknowledging that he had spoken with Cherry and his father but choosing to direct the conversation to players that were in attendance at practice.

Cecil Cherry, a three-star recruit, and Duke Catalon a four-star prospect out of Houston, are the two players leaving the program. Neither player was at practice Tuesday.
