Turnover margin could be the key for Stanford, USC

While USC is heavily favored to take down the Stanford Cardinal, the rivalry game could be closer than anticipated.
Remember, USC and Stanford have played extremely close games over the past five seasons. In fact, over their past five meetings, Stanford has outscored USC by a slim 11 points.
In the end, it may the turnover margin that decides this conference battle.
Here's a great stat on Stanford's winning percentage when it wins the turnover battle from ESPN's Kevin Gemmell:

USC, at this point in the season, is clearly the better team. But don't be surprised if Stanford is lurking late in the fourth quarter.
