Top 2016 RB prospect set to announce on Friday

Uber-talented 2016 running back prospect Devin White has narrowed his final list of schools down to include Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, and Ole Miss.

Per his Twitter account, the Louisiana native will announce his final decision this upcoming Friday, on Jan. 8.

White is a true ground-and-pound type of athlete. At 6'0", 258 pounds, the hybrid fullback/running back would appear to be a great fit for a run-heavy scheme. As such, it's unsurprising to see three teams on his final list (Alabama, Arkansas, LSU) employing this type of offense.

Despite his considerable girth, White is very athletic and mobile. He's also more than adequate in terms of catching the ball out of the backfield. This would in theory work well in play-action scenarios.

One school will be very happy to garner the services of this thumper in the backfield.
