Top 2016 OL prospect down to three schools

Alabama and LSU are known for annually having vaunted rushing attacks. While the respective talent at the running back position is undeniable, both programs routinely recruit quality prospects along the offensive line.
As such, it's no surprise Nick Saban and Les Miles are hot on the trail of 2016 offensive line prospect Scott Lashley.
The West Point, Miss. native has narrowed his list of final schools down to include Alabama, LSU, and in-state institution Mississippi State.

It isn't often when the Bulldogs can best the likes of Alabama and LSU for a prospect. However, Dan Mullen's program has a real shot to pull it off in this scenario. Lashley recently visited Starkville on an official visit, and lives about only a half an hour (or so) from the campus. The closeness in proximity could ultimately help MSU win out.
At 6'6", 300 pounds, the 247sports 4-star prospect has considerable upside. He'll need to get physically stronger to combat the rigors of the college game, but the tools are there for Lashley to be a big-time player down the line.
