Dexter Imade rushed for two touchdowns to lead Texas State to a 21-12 win over Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo on Saturday night.

The Bobcats (2-1) took the lead in the first quarter on a 31-yard run by Karrington Bush and never gave it up. Freshman quarterback Tyler Arndt finished 123 yards passing.

Imade's scoring runs both came in the second half, including a 37-yard dash early in the fourth quarter for the final points of the night.

Quarterback Doug Shumway ran for only touchdown by the Mustangs (2-1) in the third quarter, but he then threw an incomplete pass on the 2-point conversion attempt. He finished with 79 yards rushing and 64 passing.

Jake West kicked two field goals in the first half for the only other points by Cal Poly.
