Here is the Tennessee vs Georgia game official preview, including live streaming, television, and kickoff information for the Volunteers and Bulldogs.

Tennessee vs Georgia features one team trying to continue its momentum and another team trying to rebound from.

With the programs in opposite places to where they have been in previous years, the Vols are in the midst of what they think could be a special season. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are in a slight rebuilding phase with new head coach Kirby Smart.

This rivalry has had a great bit of recent history ever since the start of the 2000s. Mark Richt turned it into something special after the Vols dominated in the 1990s.

It’s also one of the most evenly matched rivalries. After all, Tennessee leads the series 22-21-2, by a mere one game. At the same time, the Vols and Dawgs are the second and third winningest programs in SEC history.

Here is all the information you need to know for Saturday’s Tennessee vs Georgia game.

No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers at No. 25 Tennessee Volunteers

When: Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Sanford Stadium; Athens, Ga.

TV: CBS

Live Stream: CBS Sports Online

Line: Tennessee -3.5

Over/Under: 52.5

Coming off of an embarrassing 45-14 loss to the Ole Miss Rebels, the Dawgs are looking for a signature win. They would at least like something beyond that North Carolina game to open the season. Since they are playing host in this game, fans in Athens may see this as the perfect opportunity.

On the other side, Tennessee is desperately trying to avoid a hangover after last week’s victory over the Florida Gators. That is the biggest win for the program in over a decade. However, everything that comes from it could be undone with a loss in Athens.

Butch Jones’s team has a chance to do some very special things. But this game could derail all of it. Georgia is a talented team and playing at home, so a lack of focus could mean a loss for the Vols.

There are injuries on both sides. The Vols still don’t have Cameron Sutton or Darrin Kirkland Jr., and Jalen Reeves-Maybin is questionable.

Meanwhile, Nick Chubb is out for the Georgia Bulldogs. So both teams are missing key players in this game.

But like always, it should still be exciting.
