Authorities say they've arrested the man suspected of shooting three University of Southern Mississippi football players during a fight outside a nightclub.

Hattiesburg Police Sgt. Allen Murray said Travis Brown of Purvis was arrested Friday night in Hattiesburg and will be charged with three counts of aggravated assault. Murray didn't know if the 29-year-old Brown had an attorney. Two others were charged earlier this week with accessory after the fact of aggravated assault.

Players Martez Smith, Tim Green and Deddrick Jones were shot last weekend after a night of celebrating their win over 25th-ranked Central Florida. The three players remained hospitalized Friday afternoon in fair condition. The shooting left Smith paralyzed from the waist down.
