Strong, Texas wrap up 2017 QB commitment
Add another name to the Texas quarterback list.
Coach Charlie Strong said he isn't sure who will be the starter in September when the Longhorns open their season at Notre Dame, now Strong just received a QB commitment from Austin (Texas) Westlake's Sam Ehlinger.
Ehlinger who will join Texas in the 2017 recruiting class is a long-time Longhorn fan, as evidenced by his picture he posted on Twitter to announce his commitment.
Been a Longhorn since day one, I'm truly blessed to say I am committed to the University of Texas. #hookem pic.twitter.com/v4SigYV2A6
