Despite turning 70 this past April, South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier is still a hip cat when it comes to music.
On Tuesday, starting signal-caller Lorenzo Nunez was asked if his head coach knew who the rapper Lil Boosie was. Laughing, Nunez said, "it's probably a zero-[percent] chance [Spurrier] knows who he is."
Later in the day, Spurrier was directly asked if he knew who the artist was. His reaction was priceless, and had members of the media cracking up.

As Spurrier put it, "I don't keep up with a lot of rappers, that's for sure."
At least Lil Boosie qualifies as someone Spurrier does know.
