Stanford picks up commitment from RB Dorian Maddox

Stanford continued its strong recruiting push and has added a commitment from running back Dorian Maddox from Baltimore.

Maddox was offered by Stanford coach David Shaw during an in-home visit Friday, per Scout.com. Maddox accepted the offer and committed Saturday morning.

"The school speaks for itself," Maddox said, per Scout.com. "As a recruit, I was looking for a school that had exceptional academics and athletics, and what place better than Stanford?"

Maddox will join No. 10 OT Devery Hamilton, his teammate at The Gilman School, at Stanford. Hamilton flipped his commitment from Michigan to Stanford last week.
